At this time, I have Albums 1-6, published through CD-Baby (with Album 6 due on/around Sep 25) and Albums 1 -5 are now in distribution - you can find those Albums & Tracks for sale and download on Amazon and iTunes so far. Eventually, I'll figure out how to open up the albums & tracks for download/sale here on this site, and that brings up a bit of an interesting point -
On my site I have MP3's - I've preferred that all along because of several advantages over WAV format. On the one hand, audio “techs” insist that a WAV file at 192K is “better” quality, and that's the ONLY format that is used for global distribution (so that's what you get when downloading from Amazon & iTunes). But I use 320K for MP3, and I cannot hear ANY quality difference between either format of my songs (and I do maintain both formats for all tracks).
Additionally, there's the metadata difference. You can't embed Track Artwork into the WAV file. But with MP3, you CAN - and I have purchased a special track-specific photo for every one of my song tracks here on my site. Each MP3 has it's own unique photo (that you can see on my Song Bits section here) - and that feature means a lot to me as I suspect it would for anyone purchasing the download tracks & album. Just a thought I wanted to put in here, as I will have to figure out soon if I have a choice of offering downloads from my site here in both or either, MP3 or WAV formats. Just want you to know that I am certainly aware of this issue at this point and I'll do all I can to offer both formats if it's functionally possible here on the site.
